My name is Donald Oroian, and I’m running for the Bexar County District 3 seat with the San Antonio River Authority (SARA). It's on us to protect and enhance our creeks and rivers through service, leadership and expertise. We need to be good stewards of our natural resources.
As a civil engineer with a background in water resources, land planning, pedestrian accessibility and construction, I have a unique skill set that will benefit the San Antonio River Authority as well as our community.
SARA is responsible for protecting the environment and managing the natural resources for an area that covers over 3,000 square miles and includes Bexar, Goliad, Karnes and Wilson counties. Our creeks and rivers flow through some of San Antonio’s most historic landmarks and, most importantly, these natural resources support our ecosystem and the surrounding communities. As San Antonio’s population grows, it’s more important than ever to manage our resources.
I humbly ask for your vote to help me get elected to the SARA board. Let’s work together to keep our creeks and rivers clean and safe for future generations to enjoy!
